As part of our ‘Ancient Greece’ topic, Year 3 will be holding an ‘Ancient Greek Day “on the following dates; Tuesday 8th July (3G), Wednesday 9th July (3S) and Thursday 10th July (3W). We would like to invite parents and carers into school at 2:15pm on the appropriate class days. This is an opportunity for the children to share the work they have done within class and to sing some songs for you. What a lovely way to end our school year! The children will also be preparing some delicious Greek food to serve to you on the day. This will enable us to finalise ingredients and seating arrangements. We would like to encourage the children to dress up as Ancient Greeks. Please see the attached letter for some costume ideas. Alternatively, you could use an old bed sheet or towel and add your own detail (the children have had lots of sewing experience)! You may also want to add your own wreath. We will be looking out for the most creative outfits!The children will also be preparing some delicious Greek food to serve to you on the day.
