Sublime Science will be visiting Year 1 for a day of exciting and fun-packed science activities and experiments. 

As part of Year 1’s topic ‘Famous Scientists’ we have arranged a Science show and workshops for the children. This will take place on Tuesday 13^th January 2026 during school hours.

The children will be involved in lots of different workshops throughout the day, including ‘Magic’ Tricks and Spectacular Experiments, Sweet Making as a Science Experiment, Spectacular Science – Bubbles, Smoke & Flying things where the children learn all about pressure, air & forces too and Gooey Slime Making.

This workshop has been partly subsidised by friends of Abbey fundraising. We are asking for a contribution of £7.74 per child towards the cost of this workshop. Please refer to our Charging Policy for further details.
