TT rockstars will have several battles to complete that have been set by your teacher. You could challenge yourself to beating your high score. How many coins can you collect? Miss Rockett will be setting a weekly puzzle challenge, where it will be focusing on your reasoning, thinking and explaining skills.

Before we finished school, we were just about to complete our WOW write, which was an argument text. Can you recreate your own argument text based on a subject or topic of your choice?
There are other text types that we have covered this year, here are some you can choose from:
- Non chronological report
- Book review

By the time you come back to school, we would like you to be able to:
- Tie your shoe laces independently
- Tell the time to the nearest minute
- Recall your times tables up to 12 x 12
- Know your number bonds to 100
- Be able to spell and reads the Year 3 & 4 common exception words

Now's the time to endure the wonderful surroundings of your back garden or through your window.
Watch the animals in their natural habitat, pick your favourite and create a poem, piece of art or even a diary entry.
Whilst you are at home can you hold on to some of these items as they may come in useful for projects over the next couple of weeks.

Hello Year 4! We are missing you already but know that you must be kept safe and well at home.
Yesterday the Flanagan’s started a new 'stay at home' plan and we had a mixture of school work, life skills, exercise and family time and we had fun. My own children were delighted that I was at home yesterday so that I could help them keep on top of their learning (this of course is not true)!
I wanted to tell you about the great community spirit, here in Bearwood. Some children have been spreading a message of hope and kindness through their art work and making a rainbow picture. These pictures have been shared in homes and displayed in windows. The children who attended school yesterday also made a start and have displayed their work in the windows of the Junior School on Barclay Road.
Why not find some time this week to create your own art work and then send a photograph of it to your teacher? You may even find your inspirational art work shared on your class page. Use the email address for your year group:
