Dear Reception parents and carers
Please can you send your child into school with empty plastic water bottles, empty washing up liquid bottles, empty yogurt containers and other empty plastic containers. Please can this be done by Monday 20th June.
This is for the children to measure water capacity, so a range of sizes would be great.
All items will be recycled after use, where applicable.
Many thanks

Dear RB Parents and Carers
As temperatures are expected to be 30+ on Friday - could we please mention the following:
-Please make sure the children have their water bottles with them - they will be available to them all day.
-Although it'll be hot, please make sure children are fully covered (particularly legs - no shorts) as there are stinging nettles around. Please don't send them in clothes that they would mind getting dirty!
-Ensure that children have had sun lotion applied before school. Sun lotion can be sent into school, and the staff can supervise the application.
-Sun hats are available in school - they are the types with the cover at the back to protect their necks.
Many thanks

We will be doing fun activities on this day as a finale to the topic.

Dear parents/ Carers
The EYFS staff would very much like to see what your child is doing at home. We would be extremely grateful if you could complete the attached form, either electronically or if you would like a paper copy, please ask the class teacher for one.
Your child will be faced with multiple learning opportunities on a daily basis outside of school, both at home, on walks to the shops, visits, time spent with family etc...
We would love to see more of what your child is doing at home, to celebrate their successes and to gain a deeper understanding of their learning journey.
It would be beneficial to your child's progress if you were able to share some excellent experiences or work with the staff.
We look forward to receiving them back soon. Thank you for your support and participation.
Best wishes,
Miss Harwood
Assistant Headteacher for EYFS

Bollywood and Bhangra Dancing is a very big part of Indian culture and festival celebrations. The workshop will include:
• An explanation of the history and heritage of Indian dance
• Learning a fun, dynamic Bollywood dance routine
• Listening to lively, upbeat music
• A costume demonstration
• Lots of fun and learning about another culture through dance
• Learning basic Indian greetings and phrases
We are asking for a contribution of £3.00 towards the cost of the workshop. Please refer to our Charging Policy for further details. Please log onto your child’s ParentPay account to enable you to make payment for this activity and to give your consent by Wednesday 10th November 2021.

On Tuesday 28th September, the children can come into school wearing autumn colours - oranges, greens, browns or similar.
They will spend the day taking part in autumn activities, such as leaf printing and salt dough hedgehogs.

Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
