Abbey Playden has been developed in order to provide the children and parents of Abbey Junior School, Abbey Infant School and Abbey Nursery with quality out of hours childcare provision.
Based on the schools’ caring ethos of excellence and inclusion for all, Abbey Playden provides a safe, stimulating environment for children to share, play and learn.
By making use of the school’s wide range of facilities, including IT suites, dining hall, library, indoor and outdoor sports equipment and the ‘house’, children have the opportunity to explore numerous activities.
A team of fully qualified Playworkers and Early Years Workers are employed together with catering support from the school’s own superb kitchen, to provide peace of mind for parents and quality care and support for children.
Abbey Playden offers the type of all round quality childcare that only a school can provide.
