Abbey children have an excellent reputation for looking smart in their uniform. It is important that your child is dressed appropriately and smartly at all times. In line with other Sandwell schools, children are allowed to wear watches for which they must accept responsibility, and stud earrings only.
Recommended clothing includes:
•School sweatshirt available from the office
•Royal blue cardigan
•Grey skirt / pinafore
•Blue and white summer dresses
•Grey or black trousers
•Grey or white shirts / blouses
White or grey socks
•Plain coloured tights
•Sensible, dark coloured footwear
•PE kit comprises of plain white T shirt, blue shorts, black pumps, tracksuit bottoms are permitted outside on colder days. All items should be clearly named and kept in a kit bag that can be kept in school during the week. Ear studs should be removed for PE
•Swimming costumes, towels and swimming hats for long hair are needed. Ear studs should be removed
•You may prefer to send an old shirt or apron for art and design technology lessons
•Fleeces and outdoor jackets are available for Abbey Infant children
Please remember to name all items of clothing.
