Puddle Jumping Fun!

Class 1P had a wonderful start to their first Forest School session in Year One, and the excitement was clear from the very beginning!

On the way, we had great fun hunting for puddles to jump in before playing a lively game of “1,2,3 Where Are You?”.

Once in the bell tent, we explored seeds and bulbs using the visualiser. Everyone was amazed to see the teeny, tiny Rowan seeds that will one day grow into trees! Next, we worked together to make natural paint with a pestle and mortar and enjoyed trying out our creations.

During choosing time, there was so much to explore: sand with buried treasure and dinosaurs, potion making, water play with guttering and ducks, obstacle courses, mud kitchen recipes, pine cones, conkers, acorns and more! Some children even began drilling conkers to create conker cars.

We ended with snack and a drink in the bell tent—what a fabulous morning!
