Reception's Wonderful Wet Forest School Adventure!

What a fantastic morning our Reception class had in Forest School today!

The children were absolutely brilliant and showed wonderful listening skills by remembering all our safety rules throughout the session.

The morning started with leaf collecting for our creative leaf kebabs - the children were so excited to find different shapes, sizes and colours to thread together! During choosing time, the forest truly came alive with activity. We had busy little hands making bird feeders, mixing natural greens, and discovering hidden treasures in the sand. The children were delighted by some absolutely enormous bubbles being created!

Our pumpkin exploration was popular, with lots of curious faces investigating the seeds and slimy insides.. Children showed great creativity making faces using natural materials, enjoyed hammering activities, and had wonderful fun moving water in imaginative ways. It was lovely to see children working together beautifully, taking turns and sharing ideas.

We finished with a cosy snack time in our bell tent, where we also explored our new quiet box together. What a brilliant session - well done Reception!
