Day 2

What a wet but wonderful day we've had today! It started with a huge breakfast for the children - who knew they could eat so much? The children rotated through a trio of activities where their individual and team spirit was challenged to the maximum. The children exceeded all expectations on the climbing wall, climbing to the highest peek, even those who were afraid of heights gave it a go.

The next fear to be conquered was crawling through deep, dark mines hoping to become a VIP by completing the very tricky and daring four-step challenge. The children were super brave and achieved their VIP status. A final challenge in the forest was next - The Guide Rope Challenge: children worked in pairs to guide each other around a course with a blindfold, travelling under, over and through various challenges.

The children were so ready for bed after a day of fun and last night's antics, so after showers, it wasn't long until the sound of snoring rippled throughout the centre.

What a fab day!
