Day 3

What a wonderful final day we’ve had on our Year 2 residential!

We woke up this morning ready to make the most of our last day—although many of the children made it very clear they weren’t quite ready to leave, even if the adults were starting to feel it! After packing our bags and stripping our beds, we headed down for a well-earned breakfast.

The morning was filled with more fun, starting with team-building games on the field, where the children worked brilliantly together, followed by an exciting orienteering activity. It was fantastic to see their confidence and teamwork shining through right to the very end of the trip.

After lunch, we completed our final bits of packing and then made our way onto the coach, full of stories and memories to share.

It truly has been a fantastic three days. The children have impressed us all with their resilience, positivity, and “can do” attitudes. They have been a real credit to you, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. A huge thank you as well to the wonderful staff at Frank Chapman who helped make the experience so special.

Now it’s time for a well-deserved rest - both for the children and the adults! We look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
